Roger D. "R.D." Harris Wildlife Biologist (Consultant) I am excited to tell you about myself and why I developed "Discover Land & Wildlife Management."  My passion for wildlife started at a very young age.  Hunting and fishing with my father and grandfather instilled in me ethical values and an appreciation for wildlife.  I began my college career in the early seventies and due to economics and family considerations I was not able to complete my wildlife degree from Texas A&M at that time.  In the interim, I have had a career in the petrochemical business at DuPont in the Victoria, Texas area.  During that time, I maintained my connection with my passion for land and wildlife through research, reading, hunting, fishing, as well as, farming and ranching.  With early retirement, I was able to return to college and achieve the dream of graduating from Texas A&M University, in College Station, studying Wildlife Ecology.  Now I can become involved in wildlife management full time, which brings me to this point. Discover Land & Wildlife Management is a company I began because I want to partner with land owners in the practice of good stewardship.  It is my desire to work with land owners in their pursuit of enhancing and protecting their land by doing on-site consulting and writing and developing a Wildlife Management Plan specific to each land owner's desire to manage their land.  Your interest may be strictly for your own personal enjoyment to share with family and friends or you may be interested in managing your land for hunting purposes.  Whatever your particular wildlife interest is I am anxious to help you with your Wildlife Management desire.  As "Partners in Stewardship" we protect the natural resources on YOUR LAND!  For years to come you will appreciate and enjoy the wildlife that God has given us.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at rdharris@DiscoverLandandWildlife.com or Mobil:  (361) 676 - 0024.
